Drumsurn Bowling Club raise funds in memory of late club chairman

In a gesture of community spirit and remembrance, members of Drumsurn Bowling Club gathered recently to present a donation to two charities in memory of their esteemed friend and Chairman, Eugene McCloskey.
Eugene made invaluable contributions both to the club and the wider community and in recognition of his dedication and friendship, the members presented a cheque to Mark and Louisa McGillion, Eugene’s grandchildren, with proceeds to be divided equally between Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie.
With this act of kindness, the members of Drumsurn Bowling Club ensure that the memory of Eugene McCloskey lives on - not only within their club but also throughout the wider community that he served so faithfully.
Eugene was a friend and a passionate team member to all at Drumsurn Bowling club and will be sadly missed. This donation, made in his memory, reflects the high regard in which he was held by every member of Drumsurn Bowling Club.
