'Enjoy those beautiful pitches up there' - fans and teammates leave tributes to Ryan McBride at Brandywell Stadium

Fans have begun to leave tributes to Derry City captain Ryan McBride at Brandywell Stadium.

A number five jersey has been hung on a wall near Ryan's home at Bluebell Hill Gardens.

Two scarves have also been hung at the entrance gate to the stadium while teammate Ronan Curtis left a bunch of flowers with a message.

The message read: "RIP I'm going to miss your encouragement but I know you'll be looking down on us and keeping us right. Enjoy those beautiful pitches up there and think of us while having a kick around.
