Generous Donation made to Altnagelvin Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit in memory of young boy who passed away

The Western Health and Social Care Trust (Western Trust) have said that they gratefully acknowledge a generous donation of £1,050 to the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit, Altnagelvin Hospital by Lisa McConalogue on behalf of David Hasson and Karen O’Doherty, the parents of Daithi Hasson O’Doherty.

Daithi spent the first five months of his life in NNICU but sadly passed away last year aged 16 months.

His parents and family friends have been holding charity events in his memory, including a ‘Night at the Races’ recently raising over £2,000, half of which Daithi’s aunt Lisa presented to NNICU staff Angela McIntosh, Catherine Griffin and Olivia Adair, to be used for the comfort of other parents who’s babies are cared for in the Unit.
