Glenshane Pass closed after crashed lorry is removed amidst severe weather warnings

The Glenshane Pass has been closed heading towards Dungiven, it has just been confirmed.

As wind, rain and snow continues to batter the county, the Road Service confirmed that the road closure was due to the removal of a lorry involved in a collision earlier today.

The road remains open heading towards Belfast from Derry but, with the Met Office having issued two severe weather warnings in Northern Ireland, drivers are warned that conditions are hazardous.
