Harron and Hall take Wilkie’s Run honours

Finn Valley’s Barry Harron was the comfortable winner of tonight’s five mile Wilkie’s Run held along the River Foyle in Derry tonight.

The Donegal runner (pictured) broke the tape in 24 mins 58 secs, 44 seconds ahead of Sperrin Harriers Gavin Corey.

Michael Crolly, from Cookstown, was third in a time of 26.50.

The ladies’ race was a much closer affair with Natalie Hall, of Acorns AC (Cookstown), taking first place in 31.12, a second ahead of runner-up Pauline Thome, Ballymena/Antrim AC.

Foyle Valley’s Martina McMullan was third in a time of 31.37.
