Judge bans man from entering Derry as condition of bail

A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court charged with two counts of assault and possession of Class A and C drugs.

Muhammad Usama (28) of John Street in Omagh was charged with the offences that were said to have occurred on April 25.

Bail was not objected to and he was released on conditions including that he reside in an address approved by police, he not enter Derry City, he abide by a curfew and he not consume any illegal or non-prescribed drugs.

He will appear again on June 1.
