There was major traffic disruption in parts of Derry this morning after traffic lights at a busy junction became stuck on red.

The lights affected were at the Collon junction of the Buncrana Road and Racecourse Road.

Traffic in the area was already busy given that some of the largest schools in the city are located in the area.

Traffic in the area is slowly getting back to normal.
