Man (28) arrested in connection with £630k drug seizure in Co Derry released on bail
The individual was arrested along with a 42 year-old man after searches were carried out in Draperstown and Tobermore on Thursday
A 28 year-old man arrested yesterday (August 21) following searches carried out in the Tobermore annd Draperstown areas has been released on bail.
The individual was arrested on suspicion of drug related offences after detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch assisted by officers from the Police Service’s Tactical Support Group, seized a quantity of Class A and Class B controlled drugs with a combined estimated street value of £630,000.
A 42-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of drug related offences but was later released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
A PSNI spokesperson this morning confirmed that the 28 year-old man was also released on police bail pending further enquiries.
