A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrates Court.
Thomas Stokes (25) of Derrymore in Derry was charged with the offences that were said to have occurred on October 23.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Stokes chose not to submit any statements and not to call any witnesses.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on November 28 and released on bail.
