Man returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on drug and stolen property charges

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court charged with possession of cocaine and possession of stolen property following a preliminary enquiry in Derry Magistrates Court.

Richard Fagan (31) of Caw Hill Park in Derry was charged with, on April 3 2022, being in possession of cocaine and, on April 29 2022, being in possession of criminal property, namely cash.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions. 

Fagan chose not to make any statement and not to call any witnesses.

He was returned in custody for trial to Derry Crown Court on July 4.
