New list of North's Top 100 Hostelries list features a host of Derry names

Eight Derry city hostelries, and another seven from the county, have been named in the new list of the North’s Top 100 Hospitality Businesses.
The list – celebrating the best hotels, restaurants, pubs and clubs - was revealed at a special ceremony at Belfast’s Titanic Centre on Tuesday night.
The event, which was compered by Tim McGarry, attracted a host of VIPs including the boxer Carl Frampton.
The list was compiled by Hospitality Ulster and included premises from all over the North.
The eight Derry city businesses honoured – all of whom received awards – were: Badgers, the Bishop Gate Hotel, the Blackbird, Brown’s Restaurant, Entrada, Peadar O’Donnell’s, the Quays Bar, and Pool Works.
Seven County Derry hostelries made the list: Coachman, Magherafelt; Dorman's Bar, Magherafelt; Harry's Shack, Portstewart; Mary's Bar, Magherafelt; Old Thatch Inn, Castledawson; Owen's Bar, Limavady; and Rafters/Friels Bar & Restaurant in Swatragh.
