Rally to be held in memory of Kilrea man

The upcoming Tour of the Sperrins Rally will be dedicated to the memory of a Kilrea man who tragically lost his life in a crash last year.

The annual event, which is organised by Magherafelt and District Motorclub, will be held in tribute to Ryan Bradley.

Ryan was killed in October after his car crashed into a wall and plunged into a reservoir near Castlewellan.

The 28 year-old, who was a member of Magherafelt and District Motorclub, was competing in the Down Rally at the time.

Clerk of the Course, Stephen O’Neill said he believes the Tour of the Sperrins Rally, which takes place on Saturday, May 9, will be a ‘fitting tribute’ to Ryan who had competed in the event in previous years.
