Roe Park Resort reports steep increase in bookings following £65,000 investment in digital technology

The Roe Park Resort in Limavady, Co Derry, has reported a 30 per cent increase in online sales following an investment of £65,000 in digital booking technology.
The growth in online sales means a quarter of all bookings at the resort are now made online.
According to the resort, its investment in online booking technology has driven sales and contributed to its positive room occupancy figures.
Tourism NI figures show the average hotel room occupancy for January to August was 70 per cent across Northern Ireland and 66 per cent for the Causeway Coast and Glens region.
But the Roe Park Resort says it outperformed both the industry and local authority average with room occupancy of 74 per cent for the same period.
Speaking to the Irish News, the venue's marketing manager Sinead McNicholl identified the business’s digital investment, which includes website upgrades and a new booking engine, as an important factor contributing to the resort’s success:
This latest investment by the Roe Park Resort (pictued) follows the completion of a £400,000 upgrade to its golf and health club facilities in 2015.
