Ryan Carpets 10K Charity Run raises funds for the North West Cancer Centre

Ryan Carpets staff express their deepest gratitude for ongoing medical support by delivering a major financial boost to Altnagelvin teams

The North West Cancer Centre has expressed its sincere gratitude to the team at Ryan Carpets in Derry’s Springtown following their generous donation of £3,005.31.

The funds were raised through a 10K charity run organised by Ryan Carpets colleagues and friends as a way of expressing their gratitude and appreciation for the care and support that a number of their colleagues and friends have received, and continue to receive, through the NWCC.

Held in September, the event brought together staff, family members and friends, with many supporters turning out along the route to cheer on participants.

The support shown to the NWCC through this fundraising effort is greatly appreciated and will help enhance the experience of patients and families accessing care at the North West Cancer Centre.

Speaking following the presentation, Gary McLaughlin and Raymond Holden of Ryan Carpets thanked everyone who participated, donated and supported the event, helping to make the fundraiser such a success.
