Special event being held in County Derry to raise money for Guide Dogs NI

Put your best paw forward to help Guide Dogs!

From daschunds to great danes, dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome at a unique fundraising event in Portrush on Sunday 17 September.

The ‘Furry Scurry’ is being organised by local hotel Inn on the Coast and provide fun for all the family - including the four-legged ones!

A sponsored walk to the beach will start at noon and there’ll be plenty of other activities on offer too, including a bouncy castle and assault course, a dog competition, pet portraits and a raffle.

All money raised will go directly to Guide Dogs NI to help change the lives of people with sight loss. It costs around £56,000 to support a guide dog from birth to retirement and the charity is almost completely reliant on public donations.

Registration for the Furry Scurry is essential before Sunday 10 September by emailing [email protected] or calling 028 7082 3509.
