A man has appeared in Derry Magistrates Court for breaching a restraining order and a number of drug offences.

Stewart Daniel James Moore, 27, of Larkspur Rise, Belfast, was charged with breaching his bail conditions by entering Derry, namely the Transport Hub on November 1 last.

Police were alerted to his presence when a member of staff called them to report a domestic incident taking place there.

When they arrived, Moore was found to be in breach of a restraining order and to be in possession of diazepam and pregabalin.

District Judge Oonagh Mullan sentenced him to three months in custody, suspended for twelve months for both offences.
