Derry Magistrate's Court was told three more had been arrested during a mention of two men facing charges in relation to the parade on Easter Monday

Three more people had been arrested in relation to a dissident republican parade in Derry and files were awaited to see if charges will follow, Derry Magistrate's Court heard today.

The court was told this during a mention of two men facing charges in relation to the parade on Easter Monday.

Patrick Gallagher (31) of John Field Place in Derry is charged with support for a proscribed organisation, calling for support for a proscribed organisation and aiding and abetting such calls on April 10 this year.

Stephen Murney (39) of Derrybeg Terrace in Newry is charged with similar offences on the same date.

The court heard that a PE date had been fixed for November 30 but recently three people had been arrested in connection with the same incident and a decision was awaited on whether charges would follow.

A prosecutor told the court this being so it was 'unlikely' the PE date would be met and a date in December was more likely.

The case was adjourned until November 23 to see if anyone else is to be charged.

Both defendants are currently on bail.
