Western Trust thank staff past and present as they celebrate 10th birthday

The Western Health and Social Care Trust are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their formation.
The Trust provides health and social care services across the super council areas of Strabane and Derry City, Fermanagh and Omagh District and a portion of the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area.
It employs approximately 12,500 staff and spends approximately £588 million annually.
The Western Trust was established on 1 April 2007 under the Review of Public Administration. The Trust brought together the delivery of Health and Social Care which was previously provided by three separate Trusts: Altnagelvin, Foyle and Sperrin Lakeland Trusts and Westcare Business Services.
In a joint statement Chairman of the Trust Niall Birthistle and Chief Executive Elaine Way said: "To all our staff both past and present,
"This week we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Western Health and Social Care Trust, providing 10 years of exemplary health and social care services to the population of the West.
"As we commence our eleventh year of service, we would like to thank every member of staff for their contribution to the Trust.
"Your passion and continued dedication and commitment in a challenging and changing environment are evident every day, and without your contribution the Western Trust would not be what it is today.
"Please keep up the good work!"
