80th birthday raises thousands for hospice in memory of Carndonagh woman
The sum of €4,650 was raised for Friends of Inishowen Hospice to mark Denis Harkin’s 80th birthday and in memory of his late wife Mary Harkin
Denis Harkin of Carndonagh is pictured presenting a cheque for €4,650 to Friends of Inishowen Hospice committee members Kathleen Comiskey and Catherine Monagle.
The sum was raised to mark Denis’ 80th birthday and in memory of his late wife, Mary Harkin who died in October 2023.
Denis was joined for the presentation by his daughters, Mary, Catherine and Annemarie, and his granddaughter, Mary Grace.
The generous donation will support the valuable work of Friends of Inishowen Hospice in providing care and support to patients and their families in the local community.
