A wet start with a mix of sunshine and showers later in Donegal

A wet start with rain clearing through Tuesday morning, Met Éireann say.

The rest of the day will be mostly dry with sunshine and just a few isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees, with light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Clear spells and isolated showers early on tonight. Showers will become more widespread later in the night, some heavy. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate southwest winds.

Sunny spells and scattered showers, becoming widespread during the afternoon, some turning heavy with the chance of thunder. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds.
