An auction where you could win ewes, a sheep dog and a sheperd's crook
Each year a charity auction is held at Carrick fair and has raised thousands for worthy local charities
This year a charity auction will be held at Carrick Fair to raise much-needed funds for the Sliabh League Special Needs Support Group and other local charities on November 18 at 8pm.
The items that you could bid on, to date, are ewes, a P.B.R. sheepdog pup, seafood hampers, lambs and sheperd's crooks.
The charity is an annual event. Any farmer who wishes to donate to the auction should contact a committee member.
Since 2012, the Carrick Charity Auction has raised €238,500.
A stunning new painting by Paddy Cunningham known locally as Paddy Ringo has been donated.
The painting is of Glen Head and is certain to wet the appetite of bidders.
