Donegal GAA has presented a cheque for €250,000 to Anne Duffin, a Letterkenny native now living in Mayo, following her win in the county's Win with Donegal GAA prize draw.
The presentation marks the culmination of a campaign that raised in excess of €470,000 to fund a new training facility at the Donegal GAA Training Centre, Convoy.
Ms Duffin's win comes at the end of a good year for Mayo, and Donegal GAA extended its congratulations to her on the presentation of the cheque.

Donegal GAA Chairperson Mary Coughlan thanked everyone who backed the draw: "I want to thank everyone who bought a ticket and supported this draw, right across Donegal and beyond. My thanks also go to the committee and to the clubs who worked so hard to make this campaign a success. The response we've seen puts us in a great place for the future, and it means we can move ahead with real confidence on delivering a facility that will serve players and the wider Donegal GAA community for decades to come."
Funds raised through the draw will go towards a new state-of-the-art gym at the training centre, facilitating Donegal GAA's men's and women's teams across all codes, from underage to inter-county level. Donegal GAA has lodged a planning application with Donegal County Council to progress the development, with an announcement on the next phase of the campaign expected in the coming months.
