Council gives permission for completion of 22 houses in Glenties
Donegal County Council gave the go ahead, subject to 24 conditions, to the completion of 22 new houses at an estate at Gortnamucklagh, Glenties
The green light has been given to the completion of 22 new houses at an estate in Glenties.
TOPM Developments Ltd have been granted conditional planning permission for the works at Gortnamucklagh.
The applicant sought permission to complete the 22 dwelling houses, a pumping station and connection to the public sewerage system, entrance and associated site works that were previously granted.
Donegal County Council gave the go ahead, subject to 24 conditions.
Among the conditions laid down by the local authority is that the houses are to be used as permanent houses only and are not to be used as holiday home or short-term rental accommodation.
The developer is to be responsible for the provision and maintenance of all common services while all infrastructure, including service connections, open space provision, footpaths and public lighting will be completed before first occupancy.
The Council has also directed that the developer construct a 2m wide footpath along the boundary of the site to connect with an existing footpath at the Clos Naomh Conaill council housing scheme.
