The driver had no driving licence, insurance or tax, and he tested positive for cocaine, gardaí confirmed
A driver who tested positive for cocaine attempted to avoid a garda checkpoint, but was nabbed by gardaí.
Gardaí in Letterkenny say they spotted the driver of this van trying his best to avoid their checkpoint over the weekend.
"Unsurprising really considering he had no driving licence, insurance or tax, and he tested positive for cocaine," gardaí outlined in a social media post.
The driver was arrested and the van was seized.
The tax had expired almost 600 days ago.
He is expected to appear to appear in court on charges in relation to the suspected offences.
