A Finnish choir is set to perform at a Letterkenny event.

Körglädje, The Choir of Joy, will join forces with Letterkenny's New Land Choir. The free event will take place at the Station House Hotel on Sunday, November 8 at 6:15 pm.

Körglädje is a mixed choir from Åland, an island situated between Sweden and Finland with 60 members aged between 19 and 83. The choir has spent more than 22 years bringing people together through song.

The New Land Choir was set up in 2022 and is supported by the Donegal Volunteer Centre. A multicultural choir, its members introduce, support and teach songs from their different cultures.

“Spend a cosy afternoon listening to music to lift your heart,” New Land Choir said. “We hope you can come along.”

The collaboration is part of an Erasmus+ project managed by Foyle Internship Europe.
