All aboard!

What is on offer is a unique journey along the shores of a lake as grand as any in Switzerland or Minnesota.

The timetable will operate between Tuesday and Friday at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm and 2.45pm. On Sunday and Bank Holiday it will be on the tracks at 12pm, 1pm, 2.15pm and 3.15pm. There will be no service on Mondays or Saturdays.

The trip will cost €8 per adult and €5 per child but family rates are also available. will take approximately 40-45 minutes. The station can only accept cash and the nearest ATMs on either side of the village are in Glenties, Ballybofey or Dungloe.

The train season will end in mid-September
