Former Ballyshannon Church of Ireland rectory available on market

Ardmeelish House is up for sale at €495,000
A former Church of Ireland rectory has been put up for sale in Ballyshannon.
Built in the Victorian era, Ardmeelish House is available to buy for just under €500,000, courtesy of Edel Quinn Properties.
Ardmeelish House is of social importance to Ballyshannon, as a former Church of Ireland rectory associated with St Anne’s Church. The present building replaced an earlier building that was built in 1810 in the townland of Kildoney Glebe.
The property is on a two-acre site and is nestled at the edge of Assaroe Lake, enjoying views over Ballyshannon and the Benbulbin mountain range.
Retaining its Victorian and Edwardian characteristics, the property is a two-storey, three-bay house with eight bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The entrance hall preserves its original decorative character, and the richly detailed oak staircase was imported from Norway and shipped to Ballyshannon Port.
Edel Quinn Properties stated: “A wonderful property of this nature rarely comes to market and would make for a fabulous home.”
