Fr Brian Ó Fearraigh to shave his lovely locks for much-loved Oisin Campbell

Fr Ó Fearraigh will be joined in his efforts by Maighréad Gallagher and Oisín's mum Fionnuala is to take to the sea to raise funds
A gofundme page has been set up to assist Gaoth Dobhair’s Oisin Campbell who was born with a rare life limiting chromosomal condition.
The eight-year-old faces daily struggles with both health and developmental issues. Oisín is under palliative care and requires nursing support 24-hours a day.
Oisin uses a wheelchair, is oxygen dependent, is peg fed, deaf, has a cortical visual impairment, is non verbal and has a global development delay.
He also has epilepsy amongst other medical conditions. Despite his problems, Oisin is one of the happiest children and lights up a room with his smile.
This is an exciting time for the Campbell Family as they prepare to move into their new home. However it is also an expensive time as there will be significant costs involved with installing a fit-for-purpose bedroom with all the specialised medical equipment that Oisin requires.
Gaoth Dobhair’s Parish Priest, Father Brian Ó'Fearraigh has joined forces with Maighréad Gallagher of Selkie. Maighreád Gallagher and Fr Ó'Fearraigh have agreed to have their head shaved to raise funds for the much-loved 8-year old.
The swimming group, Na Selkies, which Oisín's mother, Fionnuala, is a member of will undertake a Snorkel or Swim to Inis Meain or Inis Oirthear to also help raise funds. This event will be followed by a Sausage Sizzle on September 22 - the location for this is yet to be confirmed.
