A preliminary scoping exercise has been carried out in relation to the future potential of Raphoe Castle.
The matter was raised at the recent Lifford-Stranorlar Municipal District meeting by Cllr Frank McBrearty Jnr.
He was told enquiries would be made within the council to see what stage it was now at and come back to him.
He was also informed there was no information available about the development of Beltany Stone Circle outside Raphoe but the matter would be explores with the council's cultural section to see if there had been any developments.
