Gardai investigate as entry gained to vacant Donegal Town house

Gardaí in Ballyshannon are investigating a burglary that occurred at a vacant house in the area of Orbeg, Donegal Town.

The incident occurred sometime between Tuesday, October 1 and Tuesday, October 15.

The glass was removed from the front door frame of the house in order to gain entry. Nothing was stolen from the property.

A Garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to residents in that area to make contact with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530 if they observed any suspicious activity between those dates. Alternatively, any relevant information can be passed on via the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
