Gardaí issue car security advice as ‘you never know who is watching!’
The advice comes after thefts from cars in Inishowen and includes locking your car, parking securely and leaving your valuables at home
Gardaí have issued car security advice in light of recent thefts from vehicles.
The advice issued comes in the aftermath of thefts across the Inishowen peninsula. The recommendation is to always park in a secure location and lock your car.
“Do not leave anything worth stealing within sight and do not make the mistake of trying to hide your belongings within the car once you have parked up,” Garda Claire Rafferty said. “You never know who is watching!”
“Leave all valuables at home. Always report suspicious activity to Gardaí immediately.”
