Gardaí receive report of unconscious man lying on street on Christmas eve
It is believed a man was set upon by someone unknown to him
Gardaí are appealing for information after a man was found injured on Buncrana Main Street on Christmas Eve.
Shortly after 3am, gardaí received a report of a man lying unconscious on the main street. On arrival, gardaí found the man to be conscious. Gardaí believe the injured man received a blow to the head from another male who was not known to him.
The injured man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital.
