Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter's annual Street Feast set to return
This much-loved community event promises an afternoon of great food, live entertainment and family-friendly fun in the heart of the town
The vibrant Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter community is delighted to announce the return of its much-anticipated annual Street Feast, taking place on Sunday, May 24, from 1pm to 4pm on Church Lane, Letterkenny.
This much-loved community event promises an afternoon of great food, live entertainment and family-friendly fun in the heart of the town. The historic area behind Church Street Cycles will once again be transformed with colourful street decorations, shared dining tables and an exciting selection of street food for this unique outdoor celebration.
Throughout the afternoon, visitors can enjoy games, live music, a DJ and a wide variety of delicious dishes, with local cafés and restaurants generously supporting the event through sponsorship and food contributions.
A spokesperson for the Cathedral Quarter said: “The Street Feast is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food, meet new people and celebrate the fantastic community spirit that makes Letterkenny so special. It’s all about diversity, togetherness and having fun. Whether you love cooking, music, or simply enjoying a good day out, we’d encourage everyone to come along, bring a dish, or even perform at what promises to be one of the highlights of the summer.”
The Cathedral Quarter extends a warm welcome to all residents and visitors, including those who are new to Letterkenny, to join in this celebration of community and connection. Volunteers from Letterkenny Tidy Towns have also played an important role in preparing the area for the occasion.
