National School in Glencolmcille Parish to build new astroturf facility
Meenaneary National School submitted successful application to Donegal County Council
Meenaneary National School has been granted planning permission by Donegal County Council to build a new astroturf facility.
The facility will be built in the park behind the school, and will include external floodlights and a three-metre-high surrounding fence.
Located 9km east of Glencolmcille, the construction will provide a sporting facility in the local area.
The granted planning permission from Donegal County Council came with four conditions, designed to preserve the area's amenities, ensure orderly development, and prevent flooding.
