No rest for gritter crews as Donegal faces another night of snow and ice

The treacherous road conditions look set to continue for the rest of the week
With Donegal still under a blanket of snow and temperatures set to drop overnight, the gritting teams are facing into another busy night and morning.
Crews have been out since 4pm across all the county's designated gritting routes as they try to keep the roads as safe as possible.
Further crews will have a very early start, with gritters out from 5am on Thursday.
With conditions deteriorating very quickly, motorists are advised to drive with caution, to avoid unnecessary journeys, and to assume that no road is ice free.
