According to a study by Diamonds Factory Ireland, the Sliabh Líag cliffs in south-west Donegal were considered one of the most beautiful places to propose to a loved one in the country.,

The relative lack of crowds compared to the Cliffs of Moher and the scenic trails were seen as positive factors in making the Sliabh Líag Cliffs an excellent proposal location.

Another top proposal spot in Ireland named in the study was Wicklow National Park, with the Glendalough Upper Lake Viewpoint considered a perfect spot for a proposal.
