Tenth annual Muff Vintage Show raises almost €8,000
The funds raised have been donated to the local Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and the development of the Muff Community Development Men’s and Women’s Shed in Muff Community Park
Almost €8,000 has been raised for charity and the local community by the 10th annual Muff Vintage show.
The event, which was held in Muff Community Park in May, raised €6,200.21 and £1,418.23.
Of that, €1,000 has been donated to the local Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, and the remainder is going towards the development of the Muff Community Development Men’s and Women’s Shed in Muff Community Park.
Muff Community Development has thanked everyone in the community who supported the event.
“On behalf of Muff Vintage Show and Muff Community Development we would like to thank all the local businesses and everyone who sponsored our 10th annual Muff Vintage show, without your generosity and support our event would not have been such a success.”
Muff Vintage Club has also thanked everyone who contributed to the May 22 event which attracted hundreds of visitors.
“The sunshine and incredible turnout created a truly amazing atmosphere. We were blown away by the variety of vintage vehicles – from classic cars to historic tractors – on display by our fantastic exhibitors,” the club said.
“A big shout-out also goes to the modern car participants in the Show and Shine! The biker groups and mopeds added a unique and exciting touch to the event, and their presence was greatly appreciated.
“A special thank you to Liam Atcheson for providing the fantastic music and entertainment that kept the energy high throughout the day. We are incredibly grateful to all businesses who generously donated prizes for the raffle and sponsored the show. Your support is what makes this event possible.
“Finally, to all the incredible volunteers who tirelessly helped before, during, and after the event – we simply couldn't have done it without you. Also thank you to the volunteers in the shed providing refreshments and sandwiches for all the exhibitors.Your dedication and hard work are what truly make the Muff Vintage Show a success. We hope you all had a fantastic day, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!”
