The good weather is expected to change later with showers forecast

It will be dry, warm and humid today with some hazy sunshine, according to the latest report from Met Éireann. However, try and enjoy the best of the weather this morning because as the day progresses it will become rather cloudy with scattered showers, in some areas.

Some showers will be heavy or possibly thundery with the chance of spot flooding. Highest temperatures of 21 to 24 degrees, in a light to moderate southeasterly breeze.

It will be very mild tonight. There will be a few showers overnight, some heavy with possible thundery downpours. Many places will be dry with a mix of cloud and clear spells at first, before some mist and fog forms overnight. Temperatures will not fall below 13 to 16 degrees, with light southeasterly winds.
