Concern Worldwide teams are supporting communities in 27 of the world’s most fragile and conflict-affected countries in the world, including Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya in the Horn of Africa

Members of the Twin Towns Concern Support Group received a donation of €1,000 from the All-Seasons Charity Shop, Ballybofey.

"A big thank you to the All-Seasons Charity Shop, Ballybofey, for donating €1,000 to Concern Worldwide through the local Twin Towns Concern Support Group," a spokesperson said.

Concern Worldwide teams are supporting communities in 27 of the world’s most fragile and conflict-affected countries in the world, including Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya in the Horn of Africa. Severe drought in this region, driven by climate change, is causing widespread hardship for millions of people.

Concern is responding with community-based programmes to prevent acute malnutrition along with critical Livelihood support and Water/Sanitation projects. As a result of this sustained investment, communities are stronger and more resilient.

"The Twin Towns Concern Support Group will be holding our Spring Sale in the Henderson Hall, Stranorlar on Saturday, April 11," the spokesperson added. "Please put the date in your diary!"
