Uninsured and unlicensed Donegal driver arrested for 'dangerous manoeuvres'

A driver, who was uninsured and had no driving licence, was arrested in Donegal on Thursday night, having been spotted by An Garda Siochana "performing dangerous driving manoeuvres".

Buncrana Roads Policing Unit, along with Gardaí from Buncrana and Moville Garda Stations intercepted the vehicle in the Muff and Burnfoot areas.

"The driver, who was uninsured and had no driving licence, was arrested," gardaí said. "A court appearance will follow. The car was seized and the driver will now have to apply to the Judge of the District Court to get it back. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy in relation to the dangerous use of any type of vehicle on the roads."
