A violent theft has been committed on a driver who was attacked while she was waiting at traffic lights in Letterkenny.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 28 at around 11.40am, when a woman was in the driver seat of her car waiting at the traffic lights on the Justice Walsh Road, Letterkenny.
A woman approached the car on the driver’s side, opened the driver’s door and allegedly assaulted the female driver and stole a sum of cash from her.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with at Letterkenny garda station on 074-9167100.
Anyone that was in that area with a dashcam is asked to make the footage available to gardaí.
