Irish actor John Connors has praised Quay West Restaurant in Donegal Town for its great food and service, as well as the “best steak” he ever had.
Connors is known for playing Patrick Ward in Irish crime drama Love/Hate and won the IFTA award for best actor in a leading role for the film Cardboard Gangsters in 2018.
The actor visited Donegal Town recently and he took to TikTok to explain how he was struggling to find accommodation in the town, until he got all the help he needed in Quay West.
He said on his TikTok channel @filmconnors that restaurant manager Jo Roarty "went out of her way to ring all of the local B&Bs that weren’t up on Google and got us a beautiful spot."
