A woman is being treated for serious injuries following a single-vehicle collision in the Malin area on Sunday night.

The collision occurred at Culkeeny, Malin on the Malin to Glengad road at around 11.45pm.

The woman was driving a car that collided with a building. She was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for serious injuries.

Gardaí in Buncrana are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the area between 11.30pm and 11.50pm on Sunday are asked to make the footage available to investigating gardaí.
