Large audiences tune in to see Leitrim on Netflix!

Leitrim is getting global attention after one of its restaurants and award-winning chefs appeared on a travel show which has been aired by Netflix, Sky and Channel 5.

The Courthouse, Kinlough features in the first episode of Adrian Dunbar's Coastal Ireland a mini-series which follows the Enniskillen actor on his journey from Cork all the way up the West Coast and across the northern coast of Ireland.

In the beautiful travel programme, Adrian stops off at his favourite spot in the West Streedagh Beach, Sligo before he makes it to Kinlough to visit his good friend Piero Melis.

Piero Melis from Sardinia came to Ireland 24 years ago, met a local woman and settled. He set up the award winning The Courthouse restaurant in Kinlough. As Piero cooks up a seafood culinary delight he tells Adrian that where he is situated allows him to get "the best of best" ingredients for his dishes.

Adrian then moves on to Rossnowlagh, Co Donegal. The two-part TV series has already aired in the USA and UK, but it's new slot on Netflix is sure to bring a few more tourists following in Dunbar's footsteps.
