Lays-bys along Antfield to Drumcoora road will be "maintained"

Cllr Des Guckian called for all the lay-bys along road L7471-0, Antfield to Drumcoora to Drumcree in Annaduff parish, "be opened up again and a few more added."

He was speaking at the latest Carrick-on-Shannon municipal district meeting.

The report by the roads office said that all existing laybys along the L-7471-0 will be maintained.

Cllr Guckian said it would "help a lot if the existing lay-bys were cleared up and stoned and a few more added."

Cllr Sean McGowan supported the motion as did chairperson Cllr Enda Stenson.
