Leitrim Rose Catherine Cullen performs at fundraising event
Leitrim Rose Catherine Cullen entertained supporters with tin whistle music and sean-nós dancing at a fundraising evening ahead of the Rose of Tralee festival.
The Leitrim Inn and Blueway Lodge hosted a fundraising event in support of Leitrim Rose Catherine Cullen on Sunday, July 26.
The event was attended by local supporters, friends and family members, including Catherine’s family, ahead of her appearance at the Rose of Tralee festival.
During the evening, Catherine performed on the tin whistle and showcased her sean-nós dancing.
The fundraiser was held to help raise costs associated with the Rose of Tralee festival tour and events.
The event organisers said: “It was a truly magical evening celebrating our local culture. Catherine’s talent on the whistle and her sean-nos dancing brought the house down, and the support from the community was just overwhelming.”
