Over 1400 customers without electricity in Carrick-on-Shannon

At least 1462 are without electricity in the Carrick-on-Shannon area.

The power cut off at approx 1.30pm today and ESB say it should be restored by 5.15pm this evening, March 10.

Snow and wind last night saw some areas in Leitrim with limited and unsteady power. But this powercut seems to be due to a "fault" in Carrick-on-Shannon area.
