Past pupils of St Clare's Comprehensive School to get involved with Golden Jubilee

The St. Clare's Comprehensive School golden jubilee occurred during the Covid worldwide pandemic, which to a fair degree inhibited the School and its past pupils celebrating this landmark moment in secondary education in Manorhamilton, as well as in its hinterland area of North Leitrim and West Cavan that the School has served for over 50 years.

St. Clare's Comprehensive School began to mark its golden jubilee anniversary on Friday November 18, 2022 with a con-celebrated Mass in St. Clare's Church, Manorhamilton at which the Bishop of Kilmore, Dr. Martin Hayes presided and that was attended by current students of the School and staff, as well as some former staff members.

Another part of the golden jubilee celebrations currently in train is an appeal by the School to all its former pupils to contact it by email to let the School know how the past pupils have got on since they left the School. In her email to all for St. Clare's Comprehensive School past pupils on this matter staff member, Mary Lynch says “we are currently trying to gather information about our 50 years of pupils”.
