Status Yellow wind warning for counties Leitrim, Sligo and Donegal

A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for counties Leitrim, Sligo and Donegal for this evening, Thursday, February 24.

Met Éireann is warning of very strong west to northwest winds this evening, with gusts up to speeds to 110 km/hr.

Significantly higher gusts will be experienced at times in Co. Donegal in the late afternoon and evening, especially in coastal areas.

The warning remains in place until 8pm this evening.
