‘Time-Lapse’ by Maria Noonan McDermott at Solas Art Gallery

Solas Art Gallery in Ballinamore is set to host a wonderful Solo Exhibition by Irish artist and poet, Maria Noonan-McDermott.

The exhibition will be officially opened by fellow Leitrim artist Louis McLoughlin on Friday, April 21 at 7.30pm, as always everyone is welcome to come along on the night or indeed anytime between then and the closing date of May 13, 2023.

‘Time-Lapse’ is the culmination of an ongoing project that Noonan-McDermott has been working on for a number of years and is inspired by her own personal experiences as a caregiver for her mother living with Alzheimer's.

In this new touring exhibition, Maria explores the complexities of time, memory and loss in a series of new paintings, original poetry and installations. Maria's work will be displayed throughout the two-storey gallery.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere is promised, refreshments will be served upon arrival.

Solas Art Gallery is located above the Four Seasons Garden Centre on Main Street Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, N41 D2X3.
